ZAGREB, Jan 5 (Hina) - Red Cross Croatia (HCK) has raised more than 1.4 million kuna for earthquake-hit areas of Iran in a fund-raising campaign which ends today, the HCK stated on Monday.

Following reports about the earthquake, the HCK set up a donation
telephone service, charging calls, and a special bank account,
collecting a total of 1,409,493 kuna since December 27.
The funds will be paid into the drawing account of the International
Federation of the Red Cross in Geneva, which is in charge of
normalising life in the quake-hit areas.
