"In these difficult moments for your country following the tragic loss
of life in the catastrophic earthquake, on behalf of members of the
Croatian Parliament I offer my heartfelt condolences to you and all
members of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran," Seks said
in a telegram.
According to the latest reports, at least 25,000 people were killed
and 30,000 injured in a strong earthquake that hit the southeast of
Iran on Friday morning.
