BELGRADE, Jan 4 (Hina) - The leaders of parties which entered parliament at Serbia's recent extraordinary elections have announced the parties will begin talks on the formation of the new government on Monday.#L# The proposal by Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica, put forward before the Christmas/New Year's holidays, to form a government which would include representatives of all seven parliamentary parties has been rejected by the so-called democratic bloc -- the Democratic Party, G17 Plus, and the coalition of the Serb Renewal Movement and New Serbia. These parties dismissed any possibility of forming post-election coalitions with the Serb Radical Party (SRS) or the Socialist Party of Serbia even before the December 28 polls. Next week Kostunica's party should decide on the proposal by SRS vice president Tomislav Nikolic that the new government be formed by the SRS and Kostunica's DSS. Negotiations have also been announced by Boris Tadic, who headed the Democratic Party slate, G17 Plus president Miroljub Labus, Serb Renewal Movement leader Vuk Draskovic, who has advocated that the government be formed by the four "democratic bloc" parties, and Draskovic's coalition partner, New Serbia leader Velimir Ilic. Serbia's new parliament has to be formed by January 27. (Hina) ha
