SUBOTICA, Dec 21 (Hina) - Ethnic Croats' only two political parties in Serbia -- the Democratic Alliance of Vojvodina Croats (DSHV) and the Croat People's Alliance (HNS) on Saturday called on local Croats to go to the polls and vote
for the "Together for Tolerance" coalition at Serbia's December 28 parliamentary elections.
SUBOTICA, Dec 21 (Hina) - Ethnic Croats' only two political parties in
Serbia -- the Democratic Alliance of Vojvodina Croats (DSHV) and the
Croat People's Alliance (HNS) on Saturday called on local Croats to go
to the polls and vote for the "Together for Tolerance" coalition at
Serbia's December 28 parliamentary elections.#L#
The leaders of the DSHV and the HNS, that held a rally in the northetn
city of Subotica on Saturday, said the coalition, led by Neneda
Canak's League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, was the only
political subject to guarantee the entry of ehnic Croat
representativesinto the Serbian assembly.
The coalition which also includes parties of ethnic Hungarians and
Bosniaks (Muslims), has to win at least 200,000 votes to pass the
electoral threshold of five percent necessary for one seat in the
parliament.
