BELGRADE, Nov 25 (Hina) - UN Chief Negotiator for Kosovo MarttiAhtisaari said in Belgrade on Friday that the first meeting ofrepresentatives of Serbs and Albanians should take place early nextyear, adding that he could see no
difference between the views of topSerbian officials.

Ahtisaari said in Belgrade on Friday that the first meeting of representatives
of Serbs and Albanians should take place early next year, adding that he could
see no difference between the views of top Serbian officials. On the
second day of his visit to Belgrade, Ahtisaari met Serbian President Boris
Tadic, the head of the Serb Orthodox Church, Patriarch Pavle and
representatives of countries in the Contact Group for Kosovo.
Ahtisaari said the headquarters of his mission would be in Vienna.
A statement issued by the Office of the Serbian President Tadic said
that direct talks between representatives of Belgrade and Pristina should take
place as soon as possible.
