THE HAGUE, Nov 21 (Hina) - The trial of former Yugoslav and SerbianPresident Slobodan Milosevic before the Hague-based UN war crimestribunal will resume on 29 November, the International CriminalTribunal for the former Yugoslavia
(ICTY) announced on Monday.
THE HAGUE, Nov 21 (Hina) - The trial of former Yugoslav and
Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic before the Hague-based UN war crimes
tribunal will resume on 29 November, the International Criminal Tribunal for
the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) announced on Monday. The ICTY reported
on its web site that "the trial in The Prosecutor v. Slobodan Milosevic has
been adjourned until Tuesday, 29 November, 2005 at 9 a.m. pending further
medical reports to be submitted to the Trial Chamber."
The trial has been adjourned about 20 times to date due to the
defendant's ill health.
