"Justice and the fight for a multiethnic Bosnia-Herzegovina have won," Halilovic briefly said at Sarajevo airport where he was welcomed by about 1,000 supporters. He added that he was feeling great and thanked everyone who had stood by him after the ICTY indicted him.
Earlier on Wednesday, Halilovic's son Samir said that his father would find true satisfaction only after those who had actually committed crimes against the Croats in the Western Herzegovina villages of Grabovica and Uzdol in 1993 were brought to justice.
