Grabar Kitarovic informed the Australian officials of the process of Croatia's joining the EU, the country's reform processes and relations in Southeast Europe.
Both sides expressed a wish to advance bilateral cooperation, notably in the economy.
The Croatian minister proposed the twinning of the city of Melbourne and Croatian cities so as to advance cooperation among local authorities.
During her stay in Melbourne, the Croatian minister gave a talk at the Australian Institute for International Affairs on Croatia and the European Union. Speaking about the process of Croatia's EU integration, Grabar Kitarovic informed the present about the ongoing reforms.
The minister also met representatives of the Croat community in Melbourne with whom she talked about Croatia's foreign policy and its policy towards emigrants.
