Minister Primorac relayed the information on Friday after a ceremony at which the World Bank's regional director for Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania, Anand K. Seth, and the Croatian Finance Minister signed an agreement on a EUR 31 million loan for the national Science and Technology Project (STP).
Explaining to reporters that he himself received the information about the approval of the loan for education just before the said ceremony at the Science and Education Ministry, Minister Primorac said the USD 85 million loan would be used for the reform of the entire schooling system.
The minister thanked the World Bank for approving the funds.
