European integration in the northern town ofVarazdin on Friday, the Ministry said in a statement.
ZAGREB, Sept 2 (Hina) - The state secretary for European
integration at the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry,
Marija Pejcinovic Buric, opened an international conference on diverse aspects
of education for European integration in the northern town of Varazdin on
Friday, the Ministry said in a statement. British Ambassador John
Ramsden and the head of the political department of the European Commission
Delegation in Croatia, Christos Makridis, also attended the opening
ceremony.
This year's conference, which is the third conference on the EU, is
attended by around 100 representatives of local and central state
administration bodies, institutions for the education of civil servants,
private organisations and NGOs from 20 countries - EU members, acceding
countries, candidate countries and countries covered by the Stabilisation and
Association process.
