The talks on the surrender of the former Bosnian Serb leader to the Hague tribunal have been intensified and Karadzic could leave Montenegro for The Hague already in September, the weekly reported.
Quoting sources close to foreign intelligence services, the weekly reported that Karadzic was negotiating his surrender with the Americans, while the Europeans kept on the sidelines.
"Karadzic could surrender several days before the start of Serbia and Montenegro's talks on association with the EU, scheduled to start in October," the paper says.
The same source said there was growing suspicion that Karadzic was hiding in Montenegro, in one of the buildings of the Serb Orthodox Church, or among his followers and relatives.
The weekly estimates that Montenegro, although it obviously does not have control over the Serb Orthodox Church, could face big problems if Karadzic surrendered on its soil.
Earlier this week, a number of foreign reporters arrived in Montenegro and some of them interviewed top Montenegrin officials, the weekly reported, quoting a European reporter as saying they would not be visiting Montenegro only on account of unfounded rumours.
