ZAGREB/PARIS, July 29 (Hina) - Croatia's permanent office at UNESCO hassubmitted to the office of UNESCO Director-General Koichiro Matsuura adocument on the ratification of the Convention for the Safeguarding ofthe Intangible Cultural
Heritage, the Croatian Culture Ministry saidin a statement on Friday.
ZAGREB/PARIS, July 29 (Hina) - Croatia's permanent office at
UNESCO has submitted to the office of UNESCO Director-General Koichiro Matsuura
a document on the ratification of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the
Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Croatian Culture Ministry said in a statement
on Friday. Croatia is the 17th country to submit the ratification
document.
The UNESCO Convention will enter into force three months after the 30th
UNESCO member-state submits its ratification documents, after which a list of
the intangible cultural heritage will be drawn up containing all master
pieces.
