Among other things, the programme defines cooperation in culture, education and science, with an emphasis on regional and European cultural cooperation, and promotes joint cultural projects within the Central European Initiative and European Union programmes.
Biskupic said Croatian-Hungarian cultural cooperation was very good and highlighted the cooperation with the Croatian minority in Hungary.
He said the programme signed today emphasised the protection of the cultural heritage.
The Hungarian minister too underlined the importance of renovating and preserving the cultural heritage and its diversity, notably that damaged in the war.
Bozoki said Croatia was a very important tourist destination for Hungarians, and that Hungary was one of those countries supporting Croatia's efforts to join the EU, which he added was also evidenced by the signing of today's programme.
Biskupic thanked Bozoki for Hungary's support for Croatia's EU integration.
