ZAGREB, July 13 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament resumed its session on Wednesday. Deputies were scheduled to discuss the Government-sponsored bill of amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax.

The Croatian Peasant Party, however, proposed that the debate be postponed until the Committee on Tourism voices its opinion on the amendments.

At the beginning of today's session, the Croatian Party of Right protested against some statements by Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks.

Parliament ended its yesterday's session shortly after midnight and wrapped up a debate on the government's proposal to limit public assembly near parliament, the government, the President's Office and the Constitutional Court.

President Stjepan Mesic is expected to arrive in parliament later today to receive a decoration which parliament bestowed on him last week.
