The meeting of partners of the Adriatic Euro-region will pool about 150 representatives from all Croatian coastal counties, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia-Montenegro and Albania.
Jakovcic told a news conference in Pula that Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader had supported this event.
Present at the first session of the interim Adriatic Council will be the President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Giovanni Di Stasi, and the president of the Italian region of Molise, Michele Iorio.
