The government will also propose to the Constitutional Court to assess whether the recent decision by local councillors to rename some streets and squares in the town of Plaski is in compliance with the Constitution.
It will also ask the Court to assess whether the decision adopted by the Plaski town leadership on the calculation of the annual budget and on ways to cover the budgetary deficit in 2004 is in line with law.
Suspicions about the regularity of the process of decision-making were aroused after it was established that Mehmed Prosic of the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) took part in the session of the Plaski municipal council at which the disputable decisions were made, although he was not elected at the previous elections for this post.
