As regards Bosnia-Herzegovina's cooperation with the Hague tribunal, in his talks Ashdown will welcome the recent transfer of three war crimes suspects as the start of a process that will be completed only when all remaining war crimes suspects are transferred to The Hague, the Office of the High Representative said in a press release on Sunday.
Ashdown's meetings in Washington and New York come weeks before the NATO Council discusses progress achieved by Bosnia-Herzegovina in meeting the requirements for membership of the Partnership for Peace programme.
