MOSTAR, March 15 (Hina) - Croatia's Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Josip Vrbosic, has dismissed the possibility that Croatia could introduce countermeasures to respond to the recent decision of the Bosnian government to suspend parts of its free trade agreement with Croatia temporarily cancelling zero customs rates on some Croatian imports.

"The Croatian government has no intention of introducing any countermeasures and expects the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina to withdraw its decision in the shortest possible time and find a solution to this problem through talks," Vrbosic said in statement carried by Mostar's "Dnevni list" of Tuesday.

Vrbosic met Bosnia's Deputy Foreign Minister Lidija Topic in Sarajevo on Monday and conveyed the dissatisfaction of his government with the decision of the Council of Ministers.

The Croatian government last week sent a protest note to Bosnia's Ambassador to Zagreb, Zlatko Dizdarevic, stating that it considered the Bosnian government's decision discriminatory.
