Bakic told the local media that the previously announced protests were successful and that they should prompt members of the Bosnian government to seek changes to the trade regime with Croatia.
"We want customs duties to be imposed on products from Croatia and we want Croatia to take into account our inferiority and not introduce customs duties on our products so that we could level the payment deficit," Bakic said.
The border crossing in Metkovic in southern Bosnia was closed to all traffic at 10 am, while the border crossing at Izacic in western Bosnia was closed only for cargo vehicles.
