LJUBLJANA, March 9 (Hina) - Slovenia's parliamentary opposition on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Janez Jansa's positions towards Croatia, saying the European Union might interpret them as unconditional support to Zagreb for the launching of EU entry negotiations.

Former prime minister and president of the Liberal Democrats, Anton Rop, said on Slovene Radio the "unconditional support" the Jansa cabinet was giving Croatia was problematic, according to Slovene news agency STA.

Rop said Croatia must not close its market to Slovene companies, close Slovenia's access to the sea or blackmail it with former Ljubljanska Banka's debt to Croatian depositors.

A representative of the Slovene National Party, Bogdan Barovic, said in the same broadcast that Slovenia must have the same position regarding the accession of all Western Balkan countries to the EU and that those countries must unconditionally cooperate with the Hague war crimes tribunal.

Rop and Miran Potrc, a deputy of the Joint List of Social Democrats, both criticised PM Jansa over his recent statements in connection with the former Ljubljanska Banka's debt to Croatian depositors.
