Damir Kajin of the Istrian Democratic Party underlined the problem faced by about 10,000 Croatian pensioners who had worked in Slovenia. Later today, Deputy Speaker Darko Milinovic said Parliament's 13th session would likely be called for March 8 or 9.
He was responding to Ante Markov of the Peasant Party who said that if today was the last day of the 12th session and the new one would start on March 17, Prime Minister Ivo Sanader should address Parliament about issues which he said were making the public nervous, like that of Ante Gotovina, the runaway general wanted by the Hague war crimes tribunal.
Markov also said that Parliament was late in adopting a resolution on Croatia's admission to the European Union.
