"If everything will be solved in compliance with the agreement, we will continue giving our support. Otherwise, we will have no choice," Tankovic told Hina on Tuesday, commenting on decisions his party's leadership adopted two days ago when it recommended that Tankovic withhold support to the HDZ government due to the slow pace of implementation of the parties' agreement.
The SDA leadership especially criticised the government's treatment of the case of some 200 ethnic Bosniaks in several Croatian towns, including Vojnic, Cetingrad, Slunj, Topusko, Gunja and Drenovci, who have not yet been granted Croatian citizenship, despite assurances that they will be granted citizenship.
Tankovic said that he had sent letters on the matter to Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and Sabor Speaker Vladimir Seks urging them to immediately implement what they had agreed at their last meeting with the SDA in January, when they pledged to help correct the injustice done to those people.
