"We have redoubled our efforts in order to find his whereabouts. If we establish that he is in Croatia, he will be arrested. If he is not here, we must have credible and convincing evidence to prove it, and the negotiations should not be postponed," Mesic said during a visit to Pozega, 150 kilometres east of Zagreb.
Commenting on Slovenia's decree banning the transport of cargo by Croatian trucks from Slovenia to third countries, Mesic said that presenting Croatia with fait accompli was not a good decision either for Slovenia or for Croatia.
On the occasion of Valentine's Day, President Mesic spent some time with about 120 couples who have been married for over 50 years.
