Jandrokovic said that full membership of the European Union and NATO and the development of good neighbourly relations were Croatia's principal foreign policy goals.
Jandrokovic pointed out that Croatia had met all the criteria for membership of the EU and NATO except one, expressing hope that the burning problem of arresting fugitive general Ante Gotovina would be resolved by March 17 when membership talks with the EU are scheduled to start.
He also said that a delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee would visit the Bosnian Parliament in early April to discuss the possibility of opening talks on all issues between the two countries.
Wnendt was interested in the process of return of refugees and displaced persons to their prewar homes in Croatia.
Pupovac said that progress had been made in this field, but that it was "still under the shadow of the old approach".
"This is an ongoing process and we believe that a new wave of returnees will come to Croatia, notably younger people and families with children," Pupovac said.
