The PM said this answering a question by Ratko Gajica of the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) who asked what did the government plan to do about a number of cases in which the houses of Serb returnees where purchased by Croatians against the will of the owners.
Sanader backed the Agency for the Return of Property (APN) and said that mediating agencies from Serbia and Montenegro were responsible for irregularities which occurred during the sale of the houses of Serb returnees.
Frane Piplovic of the Democratic Centre (DC) asked what the government was doing to help the return of refugees from Bosanska Posavina. Sanader said that the government was making a lot of efforts to help their return, but added that Croats cannot be forced to return to Croatia.
He said the issue would be discussed at a conference which will be held in Sarajevo on January 31.
