The rally was also attended by HDZ leader and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks, HDZ Government ministers and members of Parliament, and local HDZ leaders.
Kosor said that unlike her opponent, incumbent President Stjepan Mesic, she was not resorting to lies or insults during her campaign.
She reproached Mesic for not protecting war veterans, saying that when elected president she would appreciate veterans' contribution to Croatia.
Sanader called on the present to vote for Kosor in the January 16 run-off, saying she had made a great contribution since entering Parliament in 1995 to the protection of the family and the dignity of the Homeland War and veterans.
Commenting on yesterday's Mesic-Kosor TV duel, Sanader said Mesic was unconvincing. "He can breathe down his advisors' necks, for example that of (Zeljko) Bagic, who is banned from entering the EU, rather than down the Government's neck."
Seks also addressed the rally, urging those in attendance to go to the polls on Sunday and vote for Kosor.
