ZAGREB, Jan 18 (Hina) - The Croatian parliamentary legislationcommittee on Tuesday unanimously endorsed a plan for the harmonisationof Croatian laws with the European Union acquis communautaire in 2005,which has been proposed as an
annex to the national programme forintegration with the EU which envisages the adoption of 36 so-calledEuropean laws in parliament in 2005.
ZAGREB, Jan 18 (Hina) - The Croatian parliamentary legislation
committee on Tuesday unanimously endorsed a plan for the harmonisation of
Croatian laws with the European Union acquis communautaire in 2005, which has
been proposed as an annex to the national programme for integration with the EU
which envisages the adoption of 36 so-called European laws in parliament in
2005.In addition, parliament is expected to adopt 168 by-laws and 135
measures in compliance with the plan for the implementation of the
Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA).
For this purpose, Croatia should earmark 1.6 billion kuna in 2005. A sum
of 5.7 billion kuna is to be spent for the legislation harmonisation in 2006
and 2007.
