Speaking to the press at a reception given to mark the Bosnian Serb entity's day, Cavic said the majority of deputies in the entity parliament would endorse Bukejlovic's candidacy for the post of Republika Srpska prime minister. He added, however, that the prime minister designate still needed to talk to parliamentary parties' leaders to secure support to the new government.
Cavic dismissed the possibility of Bukejlovic not receiving the required number of votes in parliament.
Cavic nominated Bukejlovic, of the Serb Democratic Party, prime minister designate after PM Dragan Mikerevic tendered his resignation on December 17.
