The apartments, built for disabled war veterans with 20-50% disability, are worth close to 19 million kuna.
Kosor recalled that 441 flats were handed over to disabled war veterans this year, which is the largest number of flats allocated in one year. The construction of a part of those apartments had started back in 1998, but they were not completed or could not be handed over due to the poor quality of construction works, the minister said, urging construction companies to pay more attention to quality.
Currently, 342 flats are under construction and preparations are under way for the construction of another 435 flats for disabled war veterans.
