In the Vatroslav Lisinski hall several hundred people and representatives of some war veterans' associations gathered to prepare their platform as an alternative to the current major political parties.
The rally began with excerpts from a documentary about the first Croatian President Franjo Tudjman.
After that, about 20 speakers who addressed the rally severely criticised the current and former Prime Minister, Ivo Sanader and Ivica Racan, and the current President Stjepan Mesic, accusing them of what they branded as the sale of national assets and resources and the betrayal of Croatian generals.
They also accused them of showing sycophantic devotion to the international community and the European Union.
