ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Family, War Veterans and Inter-Generational Solidarity Jadranka Kosor on Tuesday met representatives of the Afghan Ministry of Women's Affairs, offering them
assistance and cooperation, the Croatian government said in a statement.
ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of the Family, War Veterans and Inter-Generational Solidarity Jadranka
Kosor on Tuesday met representatives of the Afghan Ministry of Women's
Affairs, offering them assistance and cooperation, the Croatian government said
in a statement. Kosor said the Croatian government had adopted
numerous documents regarding the protection of the rights of women, children
and disabled persons, notably the protection of women victims of violence and
women on the labour market.
She said Croatia had been among the first to recently engage in the
Council of Europe campaign against violence on women, including domestic
violence.
The Afghan officials thanked Kosor for receiving them.
