The project was designed by its coordinator, the Zagreb University's Faculty of Organisation and Informatics, it was said at a news conference in Zagreb on Tuesday.
The purpose of the project is to support the reform and modernisation of public institutions in line with EU standards, especially through workshops and seminars for civil servants and improvement of their capabilities and skills in an e-environment and e-administration.
The contract on the implementation and financing of the project was signed recently by the chief foreign partner, University Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne, and the European Commission. Croatian partners and beneficiaries of the project are the Central State Office for e-Croatia and local self-government bodies. International partners are London's Metropolitan University, Karlsruhe University (Germany), Zilina University (Slovakia) and Mykolas Romeris University from Vilnius (Lithuania).
