"We have located the network of his supporters. I must say that there really is a political will to locate, arrest and hand over to the tribunal Mladic and other fugitives," Vukcevic told the Belgrade newspaper Vecernji Novosti in an interview published on Thursday.
Vukcevic said it was hard to find Mladic's whereabouts because he was being protected by a well-organised group of "extraordinary professionals", and added that he did not believe ongoing court proceedings against 11 of Mladic's helpers would lead to information about his hiding place.
Vukcevic also said that based on information available to him, the second most wanted fugitive, Bosnian Serb wartime political leader Radovan Karadzic, was not hiding in Serbia.
