According to Radio B92, del Ponte also held talks with the director od the Security and Information Agency (BIA), Rado Bulatovic, and an unnamed official of the Military and Security Agency.

The prosecutor is also scheduled to hold talks with Serbian President Boris Tadic. On Tuesday she will meet Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic and the head of the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY, Rasim Ljajic.

In mid October Del Ponte is expected to asses if the Serbian government was doing all that it can to arrest Mladic and other ICTY indictees and submit her report to the EU which will then decide whether or not it would continue negotiations with Serbia.

The EU suspended the negotiations on the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Serbia in May over Serbia's government failure to extradite war crimes suspect Ratko Mladic.
