The project has been implemented in secondary schools throughout Croatia for six years.
The project is one of the five winners of the Council of Europe's competition "Young Active Citizens", together with projects from Germany, Russia, Hungary and Northern Ireland which promote the sense of inclusion and commitment to democratic society through education of young people and promotion of active citizenship.
GONG's projects "Open Sabor", "Internship Program" and "Citizens' Hour" have already been taken over by Southeast European countries. The project "Vote for the First Time" will soon be implemented by the NGO ISFED from Georgia, GONG stated.
