Profaca was given this annual international award for his contribution to the development of strategies and tools for the use of open sources of information for intelligence purposes.
The award was conferred on him at the end of an international conference which pooled about a hundred representatives of intelligence services and services in charge of searching for information of intelligence importance in books, films and media from America Europe, Africa and Asia.
The conference, organised by the Open Source Solutions Network, was held in Hotel Sheraton in Tyson Corner.
