She said her party had nothing to do with media allegations that in 2003 PM Ivo Sanader deposited nearly 20 tons of gold in a Bank Leu office in the Virgin Islands.
Skare Ozbolt said the DC last year received an anonymous tip about the PM's alleged accounts but without any evidence to back these claims, so the party ignored the accusations.
"We support the prime minister in the fight against organised crime and he should have done it before so as to avoid being a victim of the intelligence underworld," Skare Ozbolt said.
