The Belgrade negotiating team believes that "representatives of state bodies and members of the negotiating team should continue with intensive diplomatic activities in order to protect national interests in Kosovo and Metohija".
The meeting agreed that Serbian PM Vojislav Kostunica would explain Serbia's position at a session of the Security Council scheduled for April 3.
A member of the negotiating team, Marko Jaksic, told the Belgrade-based Radio B 92 the team agreed to continue with strong diplomatic activity in all fields and to set up a state delegation that would visit all member-countries of the Security Council.
Jaksic announced that lobbying activities would continue in the EU as well, saying that "not all has been lost" and that the outcome of "the decisive diplomatic battle" would be favourable for Serbia.
The meeting of the negotiating team was also attended by President Boris Tadic, PM Vojislav Kostunica, Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic and the head of the government's coordinating body for Kosovo, Sanda Raskovic Ivic.
