The state secretary at the State Administration Office, Antun Palaric, told a government session that the said information was not stated in the law on the suppression of conflict of interest or in the declaration forms.
The governments wants to have this issue clarified and the Commission to say if officials must declare furs, antique furniture, designer clothes, cosmetic surgery, among other things, said Palaric, who wondered if any official had declared a pedigree dog, horse or sheep.
He said declaring all moveables an official possesses would be exaggerated and asked if "we are maybe writing a list for future thieves".
