The candidate of this bloc for the new Prime Minister, the chief of the Action of Social Democrats, Zlatko Klaric, held a news conference in Zagreb on Wednesday to present the United Left platform.
Klaric said that ballots for all who have so far been in power "and who took part in shameful ownership transformation and privatisation" would mean voting for nepotism and conflict of interest.
He added that members of the United Left had never taken part in ownership transformation and in what he called the plunder of Croatian citizens and that they were persistent in warning against criminal activities.
Klaric pledged to change the Labour Act and pay debts to all pensioners in case he became the new premier.
He announced that another two parties would join this left bloc next week.
