Floor sources said the market's most notable feature was the rolling of December positions into March ahead of the December contract's expiry. Nov 22 is first notice day for spot December. Open interest fell only 1,562 lots to 12,115 lots. Prices are expected to trade sideways ahead of expiry, with support in the most-active March contract pegged at 71.50 cents a lb and resistance at the recent high of 75.00. March settled up 0.13 at 74.23, traded from 74.60 to 74.15. The back months closed 0.07 lower to 0.25 higher. Volume was estimated at 12,000 lots. 211110 MET nov 96
