"The market is not giving anybody any reason to get excited one way or the other: the fundamentals are not terribly bearish but they are not terribly bullish, either," said Jarral Neeper, an analyst with Calcot. He said while questions about the quality of U.S. cotton persist, adequate production has kept the market locked in a stalemate. Players await the U.S. Department of Agriculture's next supply and demand estimate set to be released November 12. December ended up 0.42 at 72.47, having ranged from 72.72 to 71.81. The deferred contracts finished 0.60 higher to 0.25 lower. Volume was estimated at a light 10,000 lots.
