ZAGREB, July 16 (Hina) - At today's emergence session of the
Croatian Parliament representatives of the association of the
displaced persons of Croatia, of Croat veterans from the liberation
war, and of the association of the families whose members were
killed in the war or have been missing since then addressed the
deputies during the discussion on the mandate of the U.N.
Protection Force (UNPROFOR) in Croatia. They stressed their
frustration at and dissatisfaction with a lack of progress and
results in the UNPROFOR's mission.
The chairman of the association of the Croat displaced
persons, Mato Simic, said that the blockade of UNPROFOR's
checkpoints and crossings in Croatia would continue in a dignified
and peaceful manner without incidents.
The House of Representatives of the Croatian Parliament will
continue discussing the mandate of UNPROFOR at 10:00 a.m. Sunday,
and 43 deputies are to participate in the debate tomorrow.
