ZAGREB, July 8 (Hina) - Croatia and Armenia established diplomatic
relations today, stated Croatian Foreign Ministry on Friday.
Notes on the establishment of the relations were exchanged in
Croatia's Embassy in Athens. On the occasion Croatian Ambassador
Dr. Ivica Mastruko held talks with Armenian Ambassador Arman
Kirakosian on the state of affairs in the two countries and
Croatia's stances on the developments in Bosnia-Herzegovina and a
solution to the occupied areas of Croatia.
The two ambassadors talked about the participation of
Croatian officials in the monitor mission in Armenia.
The Croatian and Armenian ambassadors expressed hopes that
economic, cultural and political cooperation between the two
countries would be successful, according to the same statement.
