ZAGREB, July 5 (Hina) - Delegations of Croatian and Macedonian
governments, led by premiers Nikica Valentic and Branko Crvenkovski
respectively, held talks on the relations between the two countries
today in Zagreb.
The delegations agreed that in the political area no problems
existed in the relations between Croatia and Macedonia. The head of
the Macedonian delegation, Crvenkovski, pointed out that Macedonia
was directly interested in the early cessation of the war on the
area of former Yugoslavia, since it might spill over to Macedonia.
Premiers Valentic and Crvenkovski stressed the necessity of
reconstruction and revival of economic and traffic connection
between the two countries. The delegations considered an agreement
that is due to be signed by Croatia and Macedonia next days.
Both governments will open their diplomatic missions in Zagreb
and Skopje.
Macedonian Premier laid a wreath in front of the Altar of
Croatian Homeland at Medvedgrad (on Mount Medvednica) on Tuesday.
