ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - The executive committee of the Union of
refugees' branch in the County of Split and Dalmatia forwarded a
letter today to Special Envoy of the U.N. Secretary-General Yasushi
Akashi on behalf of 59,000 refugees accommodated in the county.
They demand that UNPROFOR should make a program on the return of
refugees by 15 July 1994 and protect the non-Serb population in
UNPAs.
The letter also says that if UNPROFOR does not meet their
requests, the executive committee of the Union of refugees' branch
in the Split-Dalmatia County will block UNPROFOR activities in the
county where they have significant logistic equipment.
