TROGIR, July 1 (Hina) - Two thousand Croatian refugees from Serb-
occupied Drnis, Knin, Vrlika, Vukovar and Baranja, accommodated in
the Medena tourist complex near the southern coastal town of
Trogir, held a protest rally on Friday from which they sent a
message to UNPROFOR that they would no longer be refugees in their
own country.
A letter was read out, which about 17,000 refugees from Drnis
forwarded to UN envoy Yasushi Akashi to inform him that they would
obstruct the movement of UN personnel in the Split and Sibenik
areas if they received no response by a July 15 noon deadline as to
the date of return to their homes in UN-protected areas.
