ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic
today received Umberto Rossi, leader of the Italian parliamentary
party Northern League, a Foreign Ministry statement said.
Granic informed his guest about the international position
of Croatia and the current situation in the region.
Granic said that the international community should make
every effort to help in the peaceful reintegration of occupied
Croatian territories.
He stressed that the Italian minority in Istria had all
rights foreseen in the Constitution and the Constitutional Law as
well as all rights envisaged by international documents such as
those of the Central European Initiative and the Council of
Europe.
Bossi supported Croatia's efforts to join European
integrations, adding that his party was closely following the
events in Croatia, the statement concluded.
