SPLIT, May 18 (Hina) - Bilateral talks between Croatian Foreign
Minister Mate Granic and his Turkish counterpart Erdal Inonu began
at 9 a.m. at the Split airport.
Before the talks, Granic announced that he and Inonu would
today travel to Zenica to attend a tripartite meeting involving
Turkish, Croatian and Bosnian foreign ministers. The Zenica meeting
was to discuss the situation in the region, relations between the
three countries and the strengthening of the Bosnian Federation.
"We expect that today's meeting in Zenica will contribute to
the strengthening of the Federation and the overall stabilisation
in the region," Granic said before the talks.
