SARAJEVO, April 10 (Hina) - Two citizens of Sarajevo died in the
Serb mortar attack last night, a city hospital source reported on
Monday. The attack killed a 18-year-old girl and a woman.
The hospital admitted another six wounded, one of them in
critical condition.
General alert has been no longer in effect since 07:00 am
Monday.
An investigation, undertaken by UN Protection Force officials,
into the last night's attack said that shells had been launched
from positions north of the city.
UNPROFOR officials could not issue a detailed report on the
exact number and type of shells, but they believed that at least a
dozen rounds had landed on the city, two of which exploded near the
Bosnian Presidency's building, and another two near the Interior
Ministry facilities.
